Life is life, but blogging stays!!

The reason that I wasn't online the last two weeks :-s. Is that I had some hard moments of life.
Let's say I am single again. It's maybe better like this, I like my guy too much to fight with him.

But like I don't like to cry and be sad in life. Let's start on new things. Soon you will see what I mean with "new things". More of that later on this month.

For the moment lets make my entry again in Blog-land after such a long time. Reading all those beautiful blogs helped me. They gave me all energy to pick up again.

Thank you all!!!

Pierre Bergé in Brussels is holding a wonderful sale this month, I think I would buy half of the catalogue. Luckely I don't have the room for it ;-)

Enjoy like I did!!!

It's a very difficult time, so unjust, but Tomorrow will be a brighter day. Pierre Bergé always found and great consolation in the contemplation and proximity of arts. Il ne faut pas perdre dans la tristesse le goût de la beauté . Je vous souhaite tout le courage qu'il faut pour surmonter tout cela.

So sorry to hear. I love your blog and have loved watching the bed and breakfast come together. Are you keeping the business?

there are a billion boys in the sea (to mangle a catchphrase), so never fear, you'll find the right one yet!

and in the meantime, moving forward and surrounding yourself with things you love isn't such a bad idea.

take care,

Dear Belgian Banker, I am so very sorry to learn of your separation from your partner. These things, which sadly do happen from time to time, can be very traumatic and I do so feel for you. On the positive side, I am delighted that you are posting once more - something to which I shall look forward with much pleasure. As for the items you show here, I cannot see anything for which I should not find room either in London or Budapest.

Fijn dat je er weer bent, maar naar om te lezen dat je relatie is stuk gelopen....Ik ben blij om te lezen dat je positief van aard bent en niet bij de pakken neer gaat zitten.

That's the spirit! Sterkte!

Lieve groet van Madelief

It seems somewhat out of place to comment on your recent split, as I have not met you or your splat partner. But... any break is difficult, so of course I extend to you my sympathies. But if things don't work, it's much better to acknowledge that, move on, and "re-group". Fate decides, and you contribute to its choice. Easy words, difficult feelings, I'm sure.

Oh I'm so sorry I didn't see this sooner. I just went through this myself this summer (and still am) -it's so depressing. But pick up and move on -or die trying! Nothing anyone can say will comfort -but time will heal.
