The plasterwork and parquet flooring remind me so much of my own apartment in Budapest. And, the fireplace and French windows opening on to the garden look charming. Really like this space. As you said, great basics. Am in Connecticut and we don't have this design basic to work with. Love the floors, the moldings, and the fireplace mantle. Will hope you will keep us abreast of your progress.
