Merry Christmas

Thanks for all the nice little messages I received. And I would want to say Merry Christmas to everybody but then it will take me three weeks. So everybody who reads my blog or all the blog I read and thats a lot ;-) MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! I hope you all enjoyed Christmas with family and friends like I did.

And off course like we all love some eye candy, here are some pictures I took on the way from work to home friday afternoon, because I work during the holidays this year, so no holidays for me. The Royal palace of Brussels centre and the royal Warande Park all covered in snow, isn't it nice, even if it really dangerous, because I felt on my ass already once last week :-)

Praha

It seems not a lot of people visited the Czech republic. Well I am glad to share my trip with all of you. Approx. 10 years ago I already visited Prague and its countryside. And I can say that something got more modern, but the majority stayed like it was. If you like historical city's than Prague is the one you have to visit, you feel like in another time and world. Especially in the morning in the old town.
Last two days we went in the country side to visit 4 beautiful castles (zamek in Czech)

PS: I don't have a lot of pictures inside, because it's forbidden to take them :-s

Zamek Horovice one of my favorites, it's just perfection. If you visit only one castle, visit this one.

The Stotesburys

Another american story of big houses. Well it's more a sad story, but lets be honest don't we all like a bit of drama.
A wonderful big house that falls into repair and sometimes get destroyed. That last one is the part I could miss. I prefer happy endings, like a renovation project. A phenix reborn from his ashes.
Here its a sad story, but one to not forget.
