Work Work Work!!!

Its midnight and I am just out of the bathroom. Took all the paint away, even my hair was full of it. But at least I worked a lot on the new apartment today. This weekend I have to do the biggest part of all the paintwork. Here are some pictures of the action going on.

Will keep you all up to date ;-)

Painting is a messy business and not for the faint at heart. I wish you luck in finishing it quickly! It's such a gorgeous space. I can't wait to see how it looks.

Bravo to you! I know, having done it myself multiple times, that painting is a lot of work.

Just curious: do you have a working fireplace? It's a beauty! Love the bust on it. It looks great.

Hi! I follow your blog but this is my first comment. The apartment has great 'bones' and I'm sure you will do an amazing job renovating/decorating it. Can't wait to see the its finished.
Enjoy your weekend.

Dear Belgian Banker, Painting is such a lengthy business with all the preparation required before even a brush hits the paint. You seem to have made a lot of progress already and I eagerly anticipate the finished result!

Wat heeft dit huis van zichzelf al ongelooflijk veel charme. Veel succes met schilderen. Ik ben heel benieuwd naar het eindplaatje.

Your apartment is wonderful looking , the arch door, fireplce, and wonderfyl woodwork. I thint the woodwork is the hardest. Looking great. Now rest, take a break. It will there, it's not going anywhere.
