Costermans by Gérald Watelet

Well dear readers, today it was maybe a gray and very rainy day in Brussels. Nevertheless I moved my ass for my readers to Costermans today. "Ensemblier" Gérald who always has the chic to mix different styles "in style" worked his magic in the show rooms of antique family run business Costermans.
I know for some people it will look too modern and maybe even for my place its a bit too modern. But I like it a lot, they dare, and that needs respect.

Enjoy the pictures and the little video

Looks like a fabulous house - especially the rooms upstairs. Wonderful furniture though not sure about the bamboo wallpaper…

But was the heating on when the lads made the video? Both Gerald and Amand appear with scarfs on and Gerald in particular has several layers on including a padded one! But a building that size must cost a lot to keep warm!
(You have a great blog many thanks!)

I visited his booth last year at BRAFA, and it was one of my very favorites. He had decorated it so well and there were so many beautiful vignettes, it made me want to live in the booth!
