Candle light

Sometimes I think I have been born in the wrong era, but I love everything we have now a days.
I say this because I use so many candle in one year, luckily not only cire Trudon ones otherwise i would be bankrupt.
And the best way to do candle light is a dinner. Here are some pictures from a dinner a while ago. It's mostly after the party, but you can see that we had an amazing dinner :-)

yes, it's always the best light! Best not to use scented candles at a dinner table anyway.

The walls of my dining room is a very pale but slightly dusty peach which is particularly attractive in candlelight. I un-wired the antique Swedish crystal chandelier (but added a small unseen light in the corona) which is as complimentary to the guests as well as the room.

Your grouping of several floral arrangements was very successful!

Lovely photos. We light our dining room during parties solely with candles. The light is beautiful, and one is transported back hundreds of years to a more beautiful, and slower time. Expensive, yes, but worth it! Reggie

Beautiful indeed! And the candlelight just makes it so soothing and intimate. Those were some lucky guests *winks* Vanna

I too have thought that I was born in August, not in this century.
I love candles. And at the same tea and classical music in the room
