I agree with Sian Ballen and Lesley Hauge. What a wonderful apartment, I just don't get over it, there is nothing I don't like. I would love to see his other houses.

We could not agree with you more. Absolutely wonderful. We had previously seen this apartment featured in the New York Social Diary and this post simply confirms all we had thought. Elegant, chic, stylish, beautifullyconceived and executed. Perfect.
Oh my God! I suddenly got memories from my first exposure to this memorable apartment in an issue of House and Garden in the 1990's. Clearly the owners have added more things. But the overall appeal of the dwelling with its dining room/library is something one wishes one saw more of in the magazines of late. Thanks for sharing this!

I had just been reading this in NYSD. It is indeed stunningly exquisite. I was clumping along reading it and then came across the pictures of the drawing room, which is just the icing on the cake, of a pretty tasty cake.
i always look forward to fridays and the nysd 'house' column. always something fabulous.
