DIY at Rue de naples
Here are some pictures why I wasn't a moment online. I worked on several projects in my apartment. I made some shelves in my living room, I still have to fill them with books. And God knows I have enough of those. For the moment I placed some objects for the time being.

Work in progress again
Dear Bloggers,
Thanks for the compliments on my previous project. After that I decided to frame the ancient pictures my boyfriend bought this year. Last two weeks was very busy, because on top the office was moving :-s. So in the evening there was no power anymore to produce something nice on the internet. Here are some result of the framing jobs. They are sometimes 16th, 17th or 18th century pictures.
And on top of it I did some shopping and found a wonderful round frame with a portrait of a lady. The funny thing is that the wonderful blog the essence of frenchness made a nice articles about portraits. The more funny is picture number then it's our bed before we bought it from a Paris antique dealer :-). It's a small world!!!
Isn't it nice to be surrounded by such little beauty's!!!!

From several crap objects to one New item in my collection
In my last article I wrote that I was working on several projects. Well here are some results. Like everybody around the world already will know. I am always shopping!!!! I even have a cupboard with shopping bags :-). But I am always also buying objects that most people would "call" crap.
Two weeks ago I went out with my friends and what better to do than to go hunting for some crap the morning after a nice night. It's a good way to get some fresh air!!!
So I bought some frames. And one of them was a gold one with a bulb glass. There were some wonderful plastic flowers in them. My boyfriend called my crazy to buy something like that.
I don't have to say the flowers didn't live long. I think one hour after the frame came home the frame was empty.
The only question was "What to put in the frame"
One of my best friends "Tottie" bought such a frame also a time ago and did also some DIY on it.
After a week of sleepless nights. I saw the light!!! I have a big box full of old belgian money.
So after some trying and some glue here is the result, I hope you like it.

Last weeks I am not so much blogging because my life is a bit changing on the personal side :-), so I have to find my way to organise everything. But that will not stop me of being creative. I couldn't live without creating.
So this weekend was one were I did some creative work. Luckely!!!
Here is the result, I hung up some of my etchings. I know I have enough of them to fill a wall, but here is already a selection. They are hung on a screens couvert in black textile.
Hopefully you like them!!!

News
Here are some of the new items in my collection. This week was a bit busy, luckely every evening I could relax will doing my framing work :-). People will think I am mad and want to have 20.000 frames, but when I have enough you will see what I will do with them. The theme is still the same, etchings from Italy.
Hope you like them?

Reason why i wasn't so much online this week!!!
Last week I painted the inside of my mahogany cupboard. The plan was to make a nice place for glass, silverware and ceramics, from the moment i saw it in an underground garage of a friends aunt's. I knew I would use the farrow & ball paint, "Stone Blue". So i went to the shop at the Sablon near my place and ordered it. The result is practical and nice to look at also I think.
What do you think?

Recycling
Here are some of the aspects why I really love antiques. The point is that, oke you buy something that has history, or a past. You're also in one way recycling something, because you re-using it. And you always give it back his value, because you restyle it or because you just give it a very nice place in your live or house.
Like you know I am always on the hunt for those kind of objects or furniture.
Like Valentino said " It's not my fault I like beauty". Well for me it's more " I like trash, I will turn it in something nice".
I love DIY challenges, so here is one of my projects I am finishing. It's an old little table with compartments. A really piece of woman furniture, but soooo practical. The pictures speak for them selfs. I hope you like the transformation.
